Massage a coin-sized amount of this scrub gently onto your wet face and neck. Work the exfoliating scrub gently into your skin using a light circular motion to help remove dead skin cells, built-up dirt and impurities. Allow a couple of minutes for the ingredients to do their work, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Do not tug or drag your skin when drying. Always end your morning skincare routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.

If you're using a facial wash as well, use it before Micro-Exfoliating Scrub so the scrub can remove any stubborn dirt or impurities left behind by the cleanser. However, Micro-Exfoliating Face Scrub can be used by itself and using a facial cleanser beforehand is not required.

Micro-Exfoliating Scrub may not be suitable for sensitive skin types. Although it's a gentle exfoliating face scrub, it's designed for use on dry, normal, oily and combination skin types. For sensitive skin types, SkinCeuticals recommends using a chemical exfoliant, such as found in Blemish + Age Cleansing Gel and the Blemish & Age Toner. Unlike physical exfoliants, chemical exfoliants contain acids or enzymes to help remove dead skin cells and built up impurities.

After using SkinCeuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub, spray Phyto Corrective Essence Hydrating Mist. Essence Hydrating Mist is an optional step but will leave your skin feeling hydrated and fresh. If using the exfoliating face scrub in the morning, follow with a vitamin C serum and a nourishing face moisturiser, ending your morning skincare routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen. In the evening, follow with products from our corrective skincare range.
